Sanjungan Budi Lambaian Kasih Ceremony for Ts Mohd Nazri bin Salim

10 April 2026 - The Tangkak Campus Sports, Welfare and Recreation Club held a Sanjungan Budi Lambaian Kasih ceremony for Ts Mohd Nazri bin Salim, who has been transferred to the Proton Institute Campus.

The ceremony was held as a mark of appreciation and gratitude for his services, sacrifices, and commitment throughout his tenure at ADTEC JTM Tangkak Campus. All the knowledge, guidance, and contributions he has given will always be remembered by the entire campus community.

Strengthening Technology Competence: Advanced Network Defense Course

The Computer Network Technology Division is committed to strengthening the organisation’s digital defences through the organisation of the Advanced Network Defense: Firewall Engineering & Hardening course, held from 30 March to 3 April 2026.

This initiative is a strategic step in ensuring instructors remain competent and aligned with the evolution of current cybersecurity. The course focused primarily on:
- Compliance with Best Practice: An in-depth exploration of security zones, DMZ, NAT/PAT, and the critical management of firewall policies.
- In-Depth Technical Skills: Practical training involving firewall configuration via both GUI and CLI interfaces for holistic system hardening.

Our appreciation is recorded for Dr Sheikh Nasir bin Kamarudin for sharing his expertise and guidance throughout the session. May the knowledge gained become a catalyst for excellence in network technology education.

Strategic Industry Engagement – Kyosei Seimitsu Manufacturing Sdn Bhd

9 April 2026 - ADTEC JTM Tangkak Campus remains committed to strengthening the TVET ecosystem through industrial work visits and collaborative discussions with Kyosei Seimitsu Manufacturing Sdn Bhd.

This meeting aimed to bridge the gap between campus training and current industrial realities, thereby ensuring our graduates remain relevant and competitive.

Several key agendas were outlined for the benefit of students and staff, including:
ADI PEKERJAAN Programme: A more systematic career placement initiative.
Student Industrial Training (Internship): Opening opportunities for students to gain experience in a real manufacturing environment.
Industrial Knowledge Sharing: Technical expertise collaboration from industry to the campus community.
Staff Industrial Attachment: Enhancing instructor competence through exposure to the latest technologies on the factory floor.

2 April 2026 – ADTEC JTM Tangkak Campus today conducted a Working Visit to Nee Soon Teknik Sdn. Bhd. aimed at enhancing strategic collaboration between the institution and key industry players.

This productive meeting focused on four (4) main agendas for human capital development and graduate excellence:
- ADI PEKERJAAN Programme – Opening up broader career opportunities for graduates.
- Student Industrial Training (OJT) – Ensuring students receive realistic technical exposure.
- Industrial Knowledge Sharing – Bringing industry expertise directly to the campus.
- Staff Industrial Attachment Training – Enhancing instructor competence through practical, on-the-ground experience.
