Official Opening and Closing Ceremony: Strategic Synergy between ADTEC Tangkak & Johor State Education Department through STRIVE26: TVET Exploration Camp

20 August 2026 – The STRIVE26: TVET Exploration Camp concluded with the Official Opening and Closing Ceremony, officiated by Mr Haji Muhammad Khairul Nisak Bin Ahmad, Deputy District Education Officer for School Management, Tangkak District Education Office.

More notably, this TVET branding platform successfully brought together an outstanding delegation comprising upper secondary students and accompanying teachers from 46 schools across the districts of Tangkak, Muar, and Segamat, with full support from senior officers of the Johor State Education Department.

Heartfelt appreciation and congratulations to all participants for their dedication, strong commitment, and remarkable spirit of inquiry throughout the exploration sessions. You are the future technocrats of the nation!

It is our hope that the knowledge gained, practical skills, and valuable experiences from the STRIVE26 campaign will serve as a catalyst in developing competent, competitive human capital ready to face global industry challenges.

Empowering the Future of TVET: Strategic Synergy between ADTEC Tangkak & Johor State Education Department through STRIVE26: TVET Exploration Camp

20 August 2026 – A new milestone in the Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) landscape has been achieved. ADTEC JTM Tangkak Campus is proud to announce our strategic collaboration with the Johor State Education Department (JPNJ) through the STRIVE26: TVET Exploration Programme.

This initiative was specifically designed to provide participants with comprehensive exposure to the vast potential of TVET. Key programme components included:
- Networking Session (Ice Breaking) & Group Training (LDK): Fostering teamwork, leadership, and critical thinking.
- TVET Workshop Exploration: Providing hands-on experience and real insight into ADTEC Tangkak’s facilities and latest technology.
- Alumni Inspirational Talk: Sharing session by ADTEC Tangkak alumni.

This synergy reflects our continued commitment to empowering the development of highly skilled, future-ready human capital, in line with national TVET aspirations.

Exercise Whilst Preserving the Environment at ADTEC Tangkak

19 August 2026 – The staff and students of ADTEC JTM Tangkak Campus remain energised with the Weekly Brisk Walk activity! This week’s session was excellently organised by the Computer Networking Technology Workshop.

Whilst working up a sweat, participants also had the opportunity to enjoy the fruits of our own campus through a rambutan picking session at Dusun Bestari. A relaxed yet highly meaningful approach in supporting the campus’ environmental sustainability agenda (ESG).

Health maintained, environment preserved, and bonds strengthened.

Religious Programme || Young Khateeb Competition

18 August 2026 – The Student Management and Training Division (BPPL), in collaboration with the Student Representative Council (MPP), organised the Young Khateeb Competition as part of efforts to foster love for our beloved Prophet Muhammad SAW, whilst also building confidence, courage, and communication skills among students.

The competition was participated in by representatives from each workshop, with every workshop nominating one representative to deliver a khutbah. The khutbah text used was based on the text provided by the Johor State Islamic Religious Department.

This programme not only provided students with valuable experience in understanding the role and responsibilities of a khateeb, but also served as a platform to uphold the use of Jawi script, which is becoming less commonly used in daily life.

It is hoped that programmes such as this will continue to be strengthened in the future so that we can nurture a generation of students who are not only skilled in technical fields, but who also possess strong character, courage, good morals, and love for religion and the Prophet Muhammad SAW.
