Community Initiative: ADTEC Tangkak Strengthens Student Skills Through Event Management with Tadika Al Hidayah, Tangkak

16 August 2026 – Community engagement remains a key agenda at ADTEC JTM Tangkak Campus. The Student Representative Council (MPP) and Peer Mentors (PRS) took proactive initiative by offering event management services and acting as the event secretariat in collaboration with Tadika Al Hidayah Tangkak.

This synergistic effort was spearheaded by Ms Noorashikin binti Saari, ADTEC Tangkak Psychology Officer, and received full commitment from Ms Zahariah, Community and Career Unit Officer. This collaboration was specifically designed to strengthen ties between the institution and the local community.

Beyond community service, programmes of this nature provide a highly valuable dual-purpose platform for students. They directly train students in:
- Relationship Building (Networking): Building good networks with external agencies and the community.
- Boosting Self-Confidence: Managing real-life situations professionally.
- Effective Communication Skills: Developing communication talents that are a critical element in preparation for the professional working world.

Congratulations and well done to all students and officers involved in making this meaningful initiative a success!
