Verification Visit by External Verifier (PPL) for the 2024 Incentivised SLDN Programme

9 September 2025 – A verification session by an External Verifier (PPL) was conducted at Micron Semiconductor Sdn Bhd, Tangkak, Johor, for the 2024 Incentivised SLDN Programme under the Semiconductor Assembly Production field (EE-020-3:2013). The verification was carried out by Mr. Azam bin Awang, an External Verifier from Kuala Krai Vocational College, accompanied by instructors and internal assessors from ADTEC JTM Tangkak Campus.

The visit covered portfolio review and verification, related documentation, final marks, as well as the final knowledge examination for the Semiconductor Product Marking module [EE-020-3:2013-C07].

A total of 17 apprentices from Micron Semiconductor Sdn Bhd participated in this programme, which was held from 1 September 2024 to 27 August 2025. This marks the second cohort from the company to undergo training under the SLDN programme at ADTEC JTM Tangkak Campus.

Congratulations and well done to the 17 apprentices from Micron Semiconductor Sdn Bhd who were officially confirmed as competent by the panel of assessors during this session.

Dynamic Team Empowerment Programme 2025

3–4 September 2025 – The Dynamic Team Empowerment Programme 2025 organised by ADTEC JTM Tangkak Campus was successfully held at Anjung Janda Resort, Janda Baik, Pahang, involving 42 staff members.

Through various interactive activities such as group training, mentally and physically challenging outdoor tasks, and motivational sharing sessions with experienced facilitators, participants were exposed to key values such as effective communication, problem-solving, resilience, and teamwork.

The organisation of this programme aims to foster a more proactive, synergised, and challenge-ready team towards achieving excellence together.

Research Visit from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) to the ADTEC JTM Polymer Technology Workshop, Tangkak Campus

3 September 2025 – ADTEC JTM Tangkak Campus welcomed a research visit from the Enhanced Polymer Research Group (EnPRO), Faculty of Chemical and Energy Engineering, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM).

The visit was attended by five lecturers/researchers, namely Associate Professor Dr Zurina Mohamad, Associate Professor Dr Sani Amril Samsudin, Ir Dr Norhayani Othman, Dr Norfhairna Baharulrazi, and Dr Siti Hajjar Che Man. The purpose of the visit was to explore potential research collaboration opportunities and to engage in discussions related to plastic processing technology.

It is hoped that the collaboration between ADTEC JTM Tangkak Campus and Universiti Teknologi Malaysia will continue to thrive in support of the advancement of TVET nationwide.

Johor Family Charm Programme 2025

30 August 2025 - ADTEC JTM Tangkak Campus sent 20 students to participate in the Johor Family Charm Programme 2025, organised by the Darul Ta’zim Family Development Foundation (YPKDT), held at the Bakri Junction Ballroom, Muar.

The programme, officiated by the Right Honourable Dato’ Onn Hafiz bin Ghazi, Chief Minister of Johor, was organised with the aim of strengthening family well-being, empowering women, supporting students, and advocating for vulnerable groups in the state of Johor.

Overall, the Johor Family Charm Programme 2025 successfully achieved its objectives as a platform for uniting families and communities, thereby reinforcing the spirit of "Muafakat Johor" for shared prosperity.
