Director's Message

Alhamdulillah, thank you Allah S.W.T because with His will and permission, the ILP Tangkak Website was successfully completed. With the existence of this website, it is hoped that it can provide services and be useful as a means of sharing interactive information to all Malaysians.

This website was developed with the intention of introducing the department to the public, conveying information about the skills training opportunities offered at the Tangkak Industrial Training Institute as well as providing alternative channels of information related to the organization and services provided to all groups of the community.

In 1998, ILP Tangkak made history as one of the technical and skills training agencies under the Department of Manpower, Ministry of Human Resources on 50 acres of land developed under the 7th Malaysia Plan. ILP Tangkak was established to train school leavers and industrial workers in technical skills in a formal manner which has officially started on 13 October 2000 and its first student recruitment session was carried out on 8 January 2001.

As a country that is moving towards a developed country, quality human capital is very much needed now and in the future. Activities to increase the level of knowledge and skills as well as the efficiency of workers in the Industrial Revolution 4.0 era must be given attention and priority by the community so that the country does not fall behind in facing the challenges of globalisation and liberalisation.

In light of this awareness, we call on all levels of society, especially school leavers and workers in the industrial sector to seize the opportunities provided for acquiring information towards the development of personal capabilities based on the lates knowledge and skills.

Next, we hope that the information provided through this website will benefit all visitors.

Thank you for browsing the Tangkak Industrial Training Institute, Johor Darul Takzim Website.
