Tripatite 2023 South Zone Engagement Session

September 26, 2023 - The Department of Skills Development in collaboration with the Tangkak Industrial Training Institute has successfully held the Tripatite 2023 South Zone Engagement Session for Plantation & Commodity, Plastic and Furniture Manufacturing.

The ceremony started with a welcome speech by Ts. Mohamad Noor bin Ismail, Director of the Southern Region Skills Development Department and the Keynote Address of the Tripatite 2023 Southern Zone Engagement Session was delivered by Ms. Norisniwati binti Ab Rahim Head of Strategic Cooperation Unit, Industrial Relations and Strategic Cooperation Division.

To complete this event, a panel of 3 high-calibre speakers were invited to deliver a briefing and dialogue session, namely Ms. Nazatul Nisa binti Nordin - Chief Executive of the Malaysian Plantation and Commodity Institute (IMPAC), Dr. Mazlan bin Abas - CEO of FAVORIOT Sdn. Bhd. and Mr. Mohamad Muzaffar bin Abdul Hamid - Director of Human Productivity Division, Malaysian Productivity Corporation (MPC).

This session also witnessed the Signing Ceremony of the Memorandum of Cooperation between ILP Tangkak and V.S Industry Berhad represented by Mr. Michael Loke Yew Seng and Mr Tea Chee Hwa

This educational exhibition took place at Smk Bukit Gambir and has received good cooperation from SMK Bukit Gambir alumni as well as Mechatronics Certificate students, Plastics Certificate students and Mechanical Cadd students.

Student Assembly with Director

24 September 2023 - The Student Management and Training Division (BPPL) of ILP Tangkak has implemented the Monthly Student Assembly Program with the Director for the month of September.

The giving of symbolic handover session to the final stage participants of WSMB 2023 Mechanical Engineering CAD, Phang Jackson was conducted as one of the events throughout this assembly. This competition will take place at Universiti Kuala Lumpur – Malaysia France Institute (UniKL MFI) on 2-5 October 2023. Good luck to ILP Tangkak.

In addition, the director was also pleased to present the Certificates and Medals to the participants of the iCompex 2023 Competition, the Presentation of Certificates to the 2023 Combat Robot Participants as well as the presentation of prizes for the ILP Tangkak Independence Month Competition 2023.

Mind and Emotion Management Workshop

22 September 2023 - ILP Tangkak in collaboration with the Malaysian IKRAM Organization, Tangkak Women's Welfare Association (SEJIWA) and the Women's Bureau of the Ledang Parliamentary Service Center have successfully held a Mind and Emotion Management Workshop attended by ILP Tangkak students and the local community.

This workshop is held to help students and the community manage their emotions wisely in order to stay healthy in daily life.

This workshop was officiated by YB Syed Ibrahim bin Syed Noh Member of Parliament for Ledang and the talk was delivered by Dr Adnan Omar (psychologist) Deputy Chairman of the Malaysian Psychospiritual Wellbeing Organization.
