Pre-Qualification Strengthening Training for WSMB in Welding Technology

22 May 2025 - ILP Tangkak welcomed a visit from the National Youth Advanced Skills Institute Pagoh (IKTBN Pagoh) for the Pre-Qualification Strengthening Training session for WSMB in the field of Welding Technology.

This session provided an opportunity for participants from both skills institutes to test their abilities, share knowledge and experiences with peers from other institutions, and foster a spirit of cooperation between the two institutes.

May the WSMB participants from ILP Tangkak remain motivated and continue to excel as they move on to the next stage, and achieve success in WSMB 2025.

Working Visit by the Member of Parliament for Sekijang to ILP Tangkak

19 May 2025 - A working visit by Mr Suriya A/L Muniandy, Member of Parliament for Sekijang, Segamat, was held at the Industrial Training Institute (ILP) Tangkak to discuss strategic cooperation and the planning of TVET promotion programmes, particularly the “Jom Masuk ILP Tangkak” initiative.

Student Interpersonal Development Programme with the Residents of Villa Harapan Melaka

17 May 2025 - The Peer Counsellor Club (PRS) of ILP Tangkak successfully carried out the Student Interpersonal Development Programme with the residents of Villa Harapan Melaka. This initiative served as a form of education and awareness-building for PRS students, focusing on programme implementation, intrinsic motivation, and fostering a sense of humanity in facing life’s challenges.

Through this programme, not only was public engagement strengthened, but it also indirectly helped students develop values of humanity, empathy, and mutual respect. The PRS Club also donated a water jet to the Supervisor of Villa Harapan Melaka for the purpose of cleaning and maintenance for the residents.

In conjunction with the National Youth Day 2025 celebration, this programme was one of the key initiatives aimed at nurturing compassionate, self-confident, and socially aware youth.
