May the force be with you.20 August 2024 - Welcome Ozmy Sdn Bhd, Tangkak who has made an industrial visit to ILP Tangkak.
Ozmy Sdn Bhd is a Bumiputera company that runs the business of manufacturing artificial fishing lures using the "plastic molding" method that targets products to Southeast Asia and plans to expand the business globally.
In this visit session, they were exposed to the way of working, the preparation of materials, tools, molds and get to know the types of injection molding for product production. As well as the production supervision process such as identifying, repairing, preventing product problems, checking the quality and physical properties of products in the Technology Division Polymer.
The visitors were also taken to the Mechanical CADD Technology Workshop to see the basics in the production of engineering drawings using the latest 2D CAD and 3D CAD software.
Hopefully further cooperation between Ozmy Sdn Bhd and ILP Tangkak will continue including opening up career opportunities for ILP Tangkak students.
20-21 August 2024 - ILP Tangkak participated in the Presentation Session of the National Conference In Education Technical & Vocational Training 2024 (CiE-TVET 2024) organised by the Research, Innovation & Commercialization Unit, Tuanku Sultanah Bahiyah Polytechnic, Kulim, Kedah.
The programme themed "Transformative Pathways: Bridging Skills, Technology and Sustainability in TVET" was presented by Ts. Dr. Saiful Din Bin Sabdin, Vocational Training Officer, ILP Tangkak Category: Mechanical Engineering titled Influenced of Heat Input On The Hardness Of Cold-Rolled Steel joints Using Cold Arc Welding Technology.
